STREET.
O tej części twórczości najtrudniej jest coś mi napisać, określić ją jako oddzielny byt, kolejną planetę w całym układzie. Podejrzewam, że przyczyną jest pojemność tego pojęcia. “Street” - czyli właściwie co? Dziś, już z pełną pewnością, dzielę dzieła sztuki biorąc pod uwagę ich “powierzchnię oddziaływania” - dzielę je więc na obiekt i na obraz. Mieści się w tym malarstwo, grafika, fotografia, rysunek, etc. “Street” to zatem przestrzeń, w której pojawiają się moje prace. Poniżej, w tej części strony, znajdują się również dokumentacje moich rozmaitych działań, w szeroko pojętej przestrzeni publicznej (innej niż galerie czy muzea). Najczęściej są to wielkoformatowe wklejki i murale, ale również realizacje na zlecenie, wykonane we wnętrzach (bardziej lub mniej publicznych). Ujmując rzecz plastycznie, są to najczęściej utwory pokrewne temu, co wydarza się dla mnie w rysunku, malarstwie - ale nastawione na oddziaływanie zmasowane, wielkoformatowe. Poza muralami, dokumentacje live-paintingów (aktów malowania na żywo przed publicznością) oraz innych działań quasi-performatywnych.
This part of my work is the most difficult to describe, define as a separate being, another planet in the whole system. What may be the cause, I suppose, is the capacity of this concept - ‘street’ - what exactly is it? Today, with certainty, I can divide pieces of art using ‘the space of influence’ in which it exists, I divide them into an object and an image. In this group, you can find painting, graphics, photography, drawing, etc. ‘Street’, then, is the space where my works appear. Below, in this section of my page, I’ve placed documentations of my various works, done in public spaces (different from galeries or museums). Mostly, these are large format insets or murals - but also realisations I create on order, done indoor (more or less public). Describing it in a more artistic way, the topics I take up in these works are similar to those I speak about in my drawings or paintings - but they are more set on a mass, large format impact.
